Hi Andy,

I think the reason is the Direct Mode need a Wi-Fi network to work with, the X2 card get the iPad IP from the wi-fi instead of MyWi are actually assign one to iPad.

Which means if you can shooting outside without any Wi-Fi network, you can’t use the direct mode to transfer the files, that is why you need MyWi to do the job.

Correct me if i am wrong.
